Q: How does it work?

A:Mobile Grooming is very different than shop grooming.

Gone are the days of dropping your dogs off at the shop early in the morning and waiting all day for them to be done. With Gopher Dogs Mobile Grooming, we pull up to your house or place of business in our state of the art mobile salon.

We work one on one with your dog and listen to your exact directions. We ask in advance if your dog has any skin conditions or allergies.

We always insist that the owner be present for the first time and invite you to stay to see the entire grooming process.

Our van is entirely self contained. That means that we have our own warm water, and electricity.

Q: How long will it take?

A: Because we come to your house and work with one dog at a time, we are able to groom much more efficiently than a shop.

Typically a spa treatment will take about an hour.

Q: Do I need to wait all day for my groomer?

A: We will call you the night before, to confirm your appointment, and will give you a time that you can expect us.

After meeting you and your dog on our first visit, you won't have to be home for your next appointment. We only need access to your dog and will be more than happy to leave you an invoice.

Q: Will you use my sink?

A: No. Our state of the art mobile grooming salon is completely self contained. This means that we won't need to use your sink, electricity or water.

Q: What if I have more than one dog?

A: The more the merrier! Our van is equipped to handle several dogs at a time.

Q: Do you groom dogs of all sizes?

A: Yes. Our stainless steel tub is large enough to handle dogs as large as Great Danes!

Q: Do you do other animals besides dog?

A: Nope. Just dogs.

Q: What are your hours?

A:We are available and willing to work around your schedule.

What's great about mobile grooming is that after the first time, you don't have to be home. We can keep your dog on a regular schedule, without having to disrupt yours.

Q:What areas do you serve?

A: We are proud to serve the entire metro Charlotte Area, including Huntersville, and Cornelius.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?

A: We accept cash, check and credit cards.

Q: Is groomer gratuity included in the price?

A: No, our groomers appreciate any additional tip that you would like to include. It is appropriate to tip your groomers just as you would your own human hair stylist.
